Sarah Teasdale

     Sarah Teasdale began exhibiting her work in 1989 when she received the prestigious Seattle Urban League Best New Artist Award. Sarah went on to receive 1st place at the Jacob Lawrence Gallery 2001 juried exhibition with a painting entitled “Sea Dreams.”

     Sarah has explored various forms of 2 and 3 dimensional media, which is reflected in her exhibitions. Her first solo exhibition was a series of sculptures displayed at the Sandpoint Naval Station in Seattle, November of 2004. Her next solo exhibition entitled “Vernissage,” was at a private home in Paris, France, October of 2005. While in France, Sarah’s work was included in an auction at the Claude Aguetts Auction House in October of 2006.

     In addition, Sarah has been an active member of the Seattle art community volunteering her time as well as her art. Sarah has donated work to the University of Washington Sorority Auction and is a member of the Artist Trust.

     Sarah Teasdale was born in Vancouver, B.C., in 1971. Sarah received her B.F.A. from the University of Washington in 2002.
